CurrentAs a Quality Assurance Advisor and Learning & Development Provocateur, I aim to ensure that educational standards are not just met but are elevated to create truly transformative learning experiences. In an era of rapid change, our practices must not only comply with regulations but also foster innovation, accessible, equitable and authentic learning. My mission is to merge compliance with creativity, enhancing the learning experience.Quality assurance is not just about compliance; it's about continuous improvement. By working proactively, I ensure that educational practices align with the principles of inclusivity and excellence. I work closely with educators to demystify the QA process, transforming it from a perceived burden into a collaborative tool that enhances teaching and learning. This approach empowers educators, encouraging innovation within a robust framework of standards.As a 'Provocateur', I see myself as a catalyst for change, challenging traditional approaches and advocating for continuous professional growth. Emphasising the integration of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, ensures that learning environments are accessible for all. By embedding UDL, we can create educational spaces where every learner can thrive, aligning with the overarching goals of quality assurance.I champion authentic assessment methods, to better reflect learners' abilities and prepare them for real-world challenges. Traditional assessments often fall short in capturing the full spectrum of learner skills, so by promoting real-world tasks and problem-solving assessments, I support learners' success and employability.Fostering a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement, ensures that quality assurance processes are dynamic and responsive to the evolving needs of learners AND educators. My goal is to ensure that quality assurance supports creativity and professionalism, leading to meaningful, high-quality educational experiences for all.
