Reflections of Manatee, Inc. is preserving 3 acres of land in downtown Bradenton, along with 3 historical homes and a Florida Natural Spring, the Manatee Mineral Spring. As a volunteer I help maintain the grounds, gather the community together for educational programs, give historical tours and have greeted visitors from five countries within the last year or two on-site. I volunteered as Executive Director and sometimes Resident Director for this housing facility for single mothers under 21 years. It provide onsite residence and daycare to the women and one baby.The facility now runs in Venice, Florida as part of Catholic Charities.
