About Trudy Floyd-Cox

After a rewarding 31-year career as an executive level business leader, I now enjoy all the joy and flexibility early retirement affords.Throughout my career, I took satisfaction in mentoring and developing others. Since hindsight can be another's foresight (Pathbuilders quote), in retirement, I continue to share my experiences with those seeking career and life advice.Besides traveling the globe, my energy now goes towards community and charity organizations that pull at my heartstrings. Although I no longer have an official corporate role, I still proudly hold two titles that have been with me for many years: Queen and CHO (Chief Happiness Officer).Professional History: Five years with Pathbuilders, Inc., empowering high-performing women to succeed, as VP-Strategic Accounts--expanding and deepening client relationships. Seven years in Human Capital Talent Management Consulting with Manchester/Right Management and Spherion as SVP & Managing Director.Prior to my consulting experience, I rose through the ranks of American Express Company. Over 19 years, I held various sales and general management positions gaining international experience as VP & GM of Amex Canada and later promoted to VP & GM of US & Canada Financial Service Institution Sales. With American Express, corporate relocations took me from Denver to Dallas, Toronto and finally Atlanta. My husband and I still call Atlanta home.
