Required coordination across organizations; supply and purchasing, vendor management, contracts and legal teams. The primary role was to ensure that infrastructure security controls were built into the architectural framework of the solutions, MSAs, MOUs and compliance legal flow down language for partners as well as vendors. This was a client facing role.The team consisted of security architects, cloud engineers and project managers focused on new business and migrating existing clients to the cloud. A hands-on team that deploys security tools such as WAF, Firewalls, Nessus, Qualys, Splunk, Archsight, AlienVault, CrowdStrike and CSPM (CloudGuard), and TrendMicro. Use of InfoSec for IAM and Azure AD. Implemented standardized CIS level GPOs for the AWS cloud. Deployment enterprise-wide security tools to support strategic corporate direction, policies and standards. Leading large complex projects such as replacement and consolidation of networks and VPNs. Required analysis of the entire network, firewalls, routing, DNS and client interaction.

Supported by both on-shore as well as off-shore to provide 24x7 support.The face to the client to resolve performance issues, incidents and drive new business opportunities.Responsible for meeting SLAs as well as financial metrics. The customer support call center was accountable for reporting, facilitating, and resolving outages, application issues and performance concerns from the client. Brought the number of escalations from several a day to only 1 or less a month. SLAs were met consistently and within budget.

DXC was split from HPE in March 31, 2017The organization consisted of 270 cyber security professionals providing security services for clients based in Canada, Latin America, US and Costa Rica, which totaled 170 +/- contracts across multiple industries (Media, Aerospace & Defense, Finance, Health and life sciences, Energy/oil/gas, Manufacturing, and retail). These industries required security oversight and compliance to NIST, CMS, ITAR, NERC/FERC compliance, and PCI regulation.Point of contact for coordination and resolution for any security related incidents within the area and clients. Sometimes requires interaction with local law enforcement, internal legal staff, state officials, international officials, and media staff. Also required working with digital forensics teams.Work with the business units in support of the SOC 1, SOC 2, MARS-E and CMS audits required to maintain certification to act as fiscal agents of the state. This required continuous interaction with OIG, CMS and external third-party auditors throughout the year to ensure deadlines were met and findings were remediated within the time periods.

HPE was split off from HP Nov 1, 2015Led an organization of 175 platform, network, and storage engineers responsible for a large data center supporting Medicaid healthcare clients. This also included a separate disaster recovery data center that was used as the live failover for the primary data center. Disaster recovery drills were run year-round for various clients. The staff included architects, unix/hp-ux, windows, SAN, and network engineering staff along with security administration team.Managed a P&L ($8M employee expenses + $18M for two data centers). Required to submit monthly forecasting, variance reporting and approval for capital investment appropriations.Developed the strategy, implementation and run models to implement the security services for the Medicaid industry accounts. This required engaging and overseeing the standup of ArcSight, AlienVault, security center for Nessus, and compliance scanning. These services were dedicated to the Medicaid accounts.Oversaw the design, implementation, and operational support of an MPLS cloud to support 45 office sites, 15 major client call centers and 5 data centers. Management of two security operations centers (SOC) that provided 24x7 monitoring and alerting for the environment.Successfully recovered an entire data center due to flooding over a three-day period. We were successful in recovering the client and back in production without impact on their critical business services.
