Working as an Italian teacher in Melbourne (both in schools with students under 18 and in language centres for adults) I met all kinds of people or Italy lovers. Like all lovers, these people held close a romantic idea of my country. However, their ideals did not represent the life I have always knnown for their imagination portrayed the Italy of Fellini and De Sica with La Dolce Vita or siestas in small villages and medieval towns full of tourists.Thanks to them and their fictional perception, I came up with True Blue Italy in order to create a company that help tourists discover Italy's authenticity.Everywhere I travelled, from large Italian cities to small mountain villages, I met expatriates - American, Australian, British and German. People who chose to leave their home country and live, work or simply stay for a long period of time appreciating the real Italian lifestyle.Authenticity and Simplicity became the basis of my plan and helped me create a tourist service tailored for visitors who want to experience the same thing - a simple but true, sincere and authentic life in Italy.
