Hand-picked from over 50 peers to mentor and instruct future Army Command Sergeants Major (CSM) at the CSM Designee Course, Fort Bliss, Texas. Served as the Brigade CSM for extended period, with no training degradation and established his battalion as the premier training battalion for the entire installation as demonstrated through winning all installation wide competitions and exceeding installation training standards for excellence in the two years he was in this position. Trained and integrated two Drill Sergeants who were selected for installation Drill Sergeant of the Year, one who was also selected as the Training and Doctrine Command Drill Sergeant of the Year.

Responsible for all training and plans for a Military Police Battalion, with three separate Military Police Companies dispersed throughout Germany and the Balkans. Planned and executed safe deployment and redeployment to and from Kosovo. Oversaw the execution of over 5000 missions and directly planned 250 complex joint operations in support of Task Force Falcon security. Developed police intelligence templates that became the adopted standard Army wide and serve as the basis for those currently in use in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Implemented the plans for Armored Security Vehicle (ASV) integration and deployed the first ever ASVs into a hazard duty zone.
