My entrepreneurial journey started quite early with my first company (IKS) being registered in 1999, when I was in the 2nd grade of high school. I’ve always enjoyed working on the cutting edge tech; at the beginning of the century it was web & mobile (incl. WAP services, j2me, Flash Lite). In 2006, inspired by the growth of Flash Lite in Japan I created IKS Mobile focused on development of own games like „Crazy Matches”, „Cubic Republic” and „Tropictos” that were recognized internationally (IMGA, Max Awards, IGF) and projects for e.g. Disney and McDonald’s.Having invested into Flash Lite put us on a great path with Adobe that, in recognition of our multi-year cooperation, awarded us in 2009 with a grant that financed the creation of a cross-platform application called Cooklet. Web 2.0 started gaining traction at that point and so the time came for social cooking. Cooklet grew mainly organically and via strategic partnerships with BlackBerry (at peak we got 150-200k downloads of the app per month), Samsung (recognized as top 3 apps in the global innovation challenge) and TopChef (local tie-in with the popular TV format boosted recognition and content). In addition to Cooklet app, the company developed proprietary tech called FoodGraph, Cook'd button for culinary websites and Happie app for mobile and smartwatches (part of global premiere of Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch in 2015).In late 2015, wanting to explore life beyond tech, I entered the Commercial Real Estate industry with creation of TPP (Top Property Partners). Throughout last 7 years I worked with over 250 developers, investment companies and banks (incl. Bain Capital, Invesco, ECE, Blackstone, Erste) on property projects and financings worth 3B EUR. In 2019 created first AM platform with LCN that focused on Sale & Leaseback and Triple Net properties. I’ve especially enjoyed working on equity & bank financings, structuring value add & development projects and large-scale portfolio transactions (latest transaction that closed early 2022 was a portfolio of 7 OBI assets with Supernova).Currently working at the intersection of my two passions, tech + real estate.
