Trula Mitchell currently serves as the Director of Claims for Prescient National. She spent 22 years in private practice with a law firm exclusively defending employers and workers’ compensation carriers in both North Carolina and Georgia. Prior to entering private practice, Trula spent three years in the claims department at Zurich North America. After her time at Zurich, she joined MGC’s North Carolina office, where she appeared regularly before the NC Industrial Commission. In 2007, she became a Board Certificate Specialist in Workers' Compensation Law. Trula also had multiple cases before the NC Court of Appeals, including two oral arguments regarding workers’ compensation coverage disputes. In 2016, she opened and managed MGC's Georgia office and practiced before the Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation. In 2022, Trula joined Prescient National where she currently works to cultivate business-minded solutions for employers and insureds.
