I’m a 23- year-old Graduate from Loughborough university currently working at Milwaukee Tools UK as an Area Sales Executive.I have experience in working in catering, for a time, and also retail. Working at Screwfix for over 3 years has allowed me to develop a number of skills. Firstly, I'm able to quickly understand a customer's wants and needs by not only communicating with them but also by familiarizing myself with the products we sell. So much in fact that I make the customers feel comfortable enough to ask me for help with a problem they have or something they need solving. Secondly is my ability to talk to people with ease, which is something I've also been able to develop through my degree.I've had the opportunity to write multiple of my own plays and even work with an author to adapt a novel into a stage play through my degree. I've been a part of small marketing teams in the past to promote projects in and outside of my academic studies for productions I've either been a part of or help create. The skills I'm most proud of developing through both my degree and my job is my public speaking and my teamwork skills. Throughout most of my academic life public speaking and performing have always been something I've prided myself in as I'm constantly learning and bettering myself. My degree and hobbies have taught me skills in confidence that you simply can't be taught or picked up easily; its been something I've gained over a long period of time. My Teamwork skills are also something I've improved on over the years. Not only do I tend to naturally take on leadership roles, if I am suited, but I also know how to be a team player and take a step back to listen to other members. I believe I'm an asset to any team I'm a part of as I offer leadership qualities and also the skills required to be a working member of a team too.
