I currently serve as a Learning Designer at The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand, a leading institution in Online, Flexible, and Distance Learning. Additionally, I hold the role of Strategic Innovation Advisor at Neurofrog Ltd, an organisation empowering entities with AI-based neuroscience-inspired parenting solutions that create life-changing moments.I was the inaugural chair of The Education Technology Association of New Zealand (EdTechNZ) and has been a member of its Executive Council since 2016.Upon relocating to New Zealand, I developed and delivered blended/hybrid master and postgraduate programmes at AcademyEx/The Mind Lab, which equipped more than 5000 educators with the skills and knowledge to thrive in the digital age, and supervised practice-based master projects. I also conduct research on the applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning in education. I have published several papers on sentiment analysis and AI in education, and I am passionate about exploring the potential of these technologies to enhance learning outcomes and experiences.I have over 20 years of experience in education innovation, edtech, and engineering in both Vietnam and New Zealand. I hold a Ph.D. and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering, and multiple certifications in cloud computing and cybersecurity. My PhD research was about Intelligence Control which has now been applied in Electric Vehicles, Wind Turbines, and RoboticsI have led and consulted in international research and development initiatives, and contributed to the promotion of educational modernization and access in various sectors and regions. I am honored to be a Fellow of Asia Society's Asia 21 Young Leaders Initiative. I am driven by the mission of creating positive and lasting community impact through education and technology.
