Working as a law lecturer and legal researcher since 1998, the researcher has been keen on improving the knowledge and expanding the understanding of the subject of compulsory acquisition of land (CAL). So far, throughout the lectures, text books, professional articles, speeches, the researcher’s contribution has been recognised in both academic community and practical implementers in CAL in Vietnam. Especially, the text book of ‘Land acquisition and compensation’, including compulsory purchase issue, has been seen as the first text book in this field for the LLB and LLM students in Vietnam. Now I would like to take a further step to research in CAL at in deeper and wider levels.
