I was a member of School of Electronics and Telecommunications at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. In addition to attend courses, I joined Embedded Networking Laboratory and received a first assignment called "Motion Object Tracking Systems" with my labmates. Our task was to write a program on PC to control a webcam tracking a moving object. As newbies in this field, we needed to study about electronic knowledge, C program on chip, C# program on PC and algorithms. We planned a detail schedule and assigning different tasks to each people in the team based on members' knowledge. And then, we discussed frequently to understand issues we faced during the task. Our lab had a good relationship with SVMC, so in the fourth year, our team gained an Android project. This time, the project called “Interactive Screen Sharing of Samsung mobile devices used in meeting and collaborative events” focused on application on mobile Android platform. During final year at university, I continued working on Samsung project as my thesis. After hard working on these projects, I achieved much experience in teamwork, plan schedule, etc... I realized that I could perfect myself as a person with high responsibility, aptitude to work under high pressure.Before graduated from university, I got a scholarship named Samsung Talent Program (STP). This program not only provided me three months learning Korean and Korean culture but also six months practicing at SVMC. After completing internship program, I was employed as an Embedded System engineer. During working time for Samsung, I had two times for business trip to Korea. After these trips, I realize that my knowledge is not enough and I want to extend it. Hence, I have decided to study abroad to strengthen my intensive knowledge. By successfully getting Korean Government Scholarship consisting of one academic year Korean and two years in master’s degree. In master course, I not only learn about computer systems including operating systems and embedded software, but also the multimedia area. I participated in Embedded System Laboratory. My research area is object detection utilizing convolutional neural network for embedded devices. I intend to extend my studies to do my master thesis. Thanks to this study, I had more knowledge about deep learning and python programming language.
