Be it working on the floor with the warehouse tally-man on improving the freight flow or the container port planner on optimizing the container yard / barge stacking operations; or working in the office with finance on the fiscal budget or with the Java developer on data modelling for the latest update for new operational processes… it is all fun to me, not work really (though I take it very seriously). Coming from a place of passion for international finance, management and macroeconomics, I love seeing how the lower level sales and operations translate into IT-enabled automated processes and ultimately get booked into the financial figures that the board receives.When not glued to a spreadsheet or embroiled in a meeting, you can find me either in a quiet place summarizing an interesting personal-growth / self-development / business book, or on a dynamic tennis court howling at friends and colleagues (in a friendly and motivating manner of course).
