• Advising all team members of the design organization in all questions regarding airworthiness, environmental protection approvals and certification.• Ensuring that the Design Organization Handbook with their processes are following the latest EASA requirements.• Approving the classification of changes/repairs and certification processes.• Prepare the Means of Compliance and the type certification program.• Preparing the Certification Program with associated Means of Compliance and coordinate all task related to Type Investigation in concurrence with EASA or on the own DOA Approval.• Ensuring that all test programs and compliance documents are prepared in time, as required by EASA (or other agencies if applicable) to show compliance with CS, OSD and environmental protection.• CVE responsibility for the cabin interior design and associated compliance documentation.• Creating feasibility studies and LOPA ́s in alignment with EASA and other authorities.• Preparation and participation of the yearly EASA surveillance audit.• Act as a focal point for the company and customers.• Complete program ownership of delivery schedule, meeting quality standards, and financial controls from project award to final delivery.• Manage capacity and resource planning.• Coordinate and lead major milestone meeting with the customer (ITCM, PDR, CDR, FDR, FAI) and compile resulting minutes and action plans.• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities to protect and improve the project performance.• Lead and coordinate internal and external teams and their activities to execute the project requirements.• Provide weekly status updates, milestone schedules and risk analysis summaries.• Manage customer change request and support/create proposals for schedule and cost related impacts.• Development of design principles and engineering strategies adapted to the respective projects.
