Network Security Engineer
CurrentOperate in a high-availability infrastructure with multiple platforms across the globe with both on-prem, private and public cloud-based environment hosting multiple security products built by the company.• Key responsibilities include identification and resolution of hardware, software, or architectural issues in any of the lab networks and production network supporting the Qualys engineering staff and production customers.• Responsible for new deployments and management of network infrastructure and builds in private (colo) and public cloud as well as build and manage private cloud within customers environment.• Ensure availability of the Datacenter while managing devices ranging from Routers, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI, Citrix Load Balancer, Squid proxy, ASA/FTD/FMC Firewall.• Analyzing systems errors or anomalies, as well as specific network performance issues and/or error messages, to ensure maximum uptime and service quality along with security and assess trends that may ultimately result in degradation of service.• Formulating and implementing monitoring, policies, procedures and standards relating to network management and security.• Troubleshooting, in conjunction with Operations, Engineering and QA teams Web, API and other system issues at a per-packet level via packet trace and sniffer analysis.
