I’m a sophomore at Penn State majoring in Criminology and International Politics, driven by a strong interest in national security and its complexities. My passion for understanding global security issues extends to my dedication to learning Russian, as I believe language skills are essential for effective communication in international relations. I am particularly fascinated by how cultural and political factors intersect and influence security dynamics. By combining my academic pursuits with language acquisition, I aim to deepen my insights into global challenges and contribute meaningfully to discussions on security policy and international cooperation.At Sigma Kappa Sorority, my organizational prowess drives our collective initiatives forward, fostering leadership and enhancing my ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively. The sorority's collaborative environment has been a fertile ground for refining these skills, which proved indispensable when supporting the Special Education Department at Wauconda Community Unit School District 118.My internship at the Wauconda Police Department afforded me a practical lens into law enforcement, sharpening my observational abilities and augmenting the theoretical knowledge from my ongoing Criminology and International Politics studies.
