I am passionate about the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors, specifically with a focus on arts, culture, education and youth development, healthcare, and environmental sustainability, and have worked in the field for 20+ years to help create impact and change that I feel can be accomplished through effective communication, data-driven strategy and analysis. I am creative, goal-oriented and have a strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects, while setting realistic priorities. My significant experience in all facets of fundraising, development, grantmaking, CRM and grantmaking systems technology implementation, and organizational and project management has enhanced my abilities in relationship building and collaboration with individuals and organizations; problem-solving and decision-making; and strategic long-range planning and capacity building. I am also a practicing visual artist, have a background in Studio Art and Art History education, and was a Board member for more than 10 years with a nonprofit arts education organization, Artists Striving to End Poverty (ASTEP). I have exhibited my artwork in art settings and galleries in and around New York City and Jersey City, and feel strongly about the role that arts and culture play in the development of sustainable communities and individual and collective identities.
