I lead the Equity in Health Research work stream within the Diverse Data initiative at Genomics England.

Managed, delivered and developed research projects, including facilitating working groups, conducting interviews and focus groups, and writing up research findings in the form of reports and briefings. These included: a Race and Health Observatory-funded project on long-term health conditions and minority ethnic groups’ experiences with NHS services as a part of the CQC’s Annual State of Care report; an NIHR-funded project on an evaluation of a parenting programme developed as an anti-violence tool and currently commissioned by UK government as a part of CONTEST alongside UCL; work commissioned by probation services on minority ethnic groups and their experience of the criminal justice service; a project on environmental justice and minority ethnic groups; a literature review of issues in interpretation services in NHS primary care, producing a two-page summary in the context of digitisation of the NHS; participatory research activities with young people from minority ethnic backgrounds and their experience of living with diabetes with the coproduction of recommendations of changes to NHS policy. Represented the Race Equality Foundation at conferences, media outlets and events, including radio. Took part in advisory board meetings.
