Again, Myles impressed us with his data analysis prowess and ability to manipulate giant amounts of data. He worked with the CEO and I for several days rearranging cost and sell prices, changing scenarios/suppliers, and manipulating other variables – he was always able to understand what we were really looking for, and was always able to convey it to us through his analysis and work. We were able to confidently make sound decisions with Myles helping and understanding what our goals were through this exercise. Once we were ready to award business to suppliers and felt good about our margins, Myles and JS engineers visited each supplier factory to collectively make a last yet important objective assessment based on quality, capacity, equipment, and many other variables. Overall supplier capability needed to be factored into our decisions just as much as profit margin potential was, and Myles got directly in the middle of the discussion. He is able to understand all perspectives for the most complex decisions, and can coherently formulate a sound decision based on this.
