He managed 'Advanced Computer Education' for 8 years, an independent college offering education services to individuals and companies, on subjects related to Computers and Information Technology.In 1992 he was one of the two co-founders of 'Open Services Ltd', a company offering services on subjects such as open architecture IT systems, networks and the Internet and publisher of the first business IT publications in Greece, OPEN Newsletter and NET Letter. In 1999, 'Open Services Ltd' was merged with TECHNOPOLIS S.A. focusing on building enterprise custom software applications and Web content and publishes New Economy Observer (ne.o), the only greek New Economy magazine. As Managing Director at TECHNOPOLIS S.A. since 1999, Mr Sotiropoulos managed the transition of the company in becoming a ''one-stop-shop' for undertaking mission-critical Enterprise Application Integration projects. Through his position, Mr Sotiropoulos was heavily involved in getting projects for Bespoke Software development, Enterprise Portals leveraging Legacy Systems and large corporate Web sites, for companies in the sectors of Telco, Courier Services, Publications, Financial Services, Large Shop Chains, etc.
