Client Relations And Account Management
Columbia, Sc
At GraySail, as with most positions, I had a job title and description: Mine was Client Relations Manager, and my primary role was to act as the conduit of communication between client and development team. Even so, as is often the case with employees of small businesses, when there was work to be done outside of my particular job, I did it. This afforded me the ability to develop and hone valuable additional skills, such as:• Project Management• Technical Support• Software Testing• Quality Assurance• Human Resources• Recruiting• Bookkeeping (QuickBooks) including: Invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.• RFP selection and response, resulting in lucrative contracts• Selecting, binding, and renewing business insurance coverage (Errors & Omissions, Crime, Technology, etc.)The bottom line is this: I'm a connector and a catalyst, and I make certain all client needs are understood and then not just met, but indeed, exceeded. When it became clear to me that the future of business-to-customer communication would be through social channels, I created and provided social media representation as a service offered by GraySail to its web development clients. In this role, it was my responsibility to develop and provide the online brand personalities and related conversational skills. Focusing on community engagement and sentiment with an emphasis on developing and sharing creative content with the brand followers to build relationships and loyalty, with measurable results.I'm extremely proud of my eleven years of work with GraySail LLC, and look forward to what comes next.
