I started my Industrial Attachment at Chipinge Town Council for one year as a Civil and Structural Engineering attachee in the Department of Planning and Technical Services.Whilst on internship I learnt a lot,amongst the skills I acquired are the following:tendering and procurement,contracting,compiling progress reports,variation orders with contractors,engineer's representative on site,peg searching,detailed working drawings,coordinating site meetings,designing concreteworks,project management ensuring the project cost is within budget,safe and durable,workshop management,conducting building inspections adhering to the municipality's building by-laws.
