With over twenty two years of senior leadership experience including Principal, Executive Headteacher, Interim CEO and Deputy CEO, I currently proudly serve at E-ACT Venturers' Academy, part of the innovative and award-winning E-ACT family.Our multi site academy is recognised globally, making the Top 3 for the World's Best School Prizes for Overcoming Adversity. This achievement reflects the resilience, creativity, and dedication of our students, staff, and community. It’s an honour to lead such a dynamic team committed to helping every child thrive.I believe education transforms lives. My leadership is grounded in listening, empowering others, and fostering inclusivity and growth. At E-ACT, I chair the Complex Case Panel, supporting schools across the Bristol Cluster to ensure students receive support, clinical assessments and the interventions they need to succeed.In addition to my role at E-ACT Venturers' Academy, I serve as a Non-Executive Board Member for the high performing Midsomer Norton Schools' Partnership, Chair the Board for GDF, an independent multi site SEMH and Alternative Provision and Chair the Governing Body at Notton House Academy, a specialist residential setting for SEMH and ASC. These roles focus on safeguarding, strategic development, and ensuring accountability for vulnerable students.I’ve had the privilege of contributing to national advisory roles with the Department for Education, the Youth Sports Trust and as SEND Lead for the London Olympics Parliamentary Select Committee. My work continues to influence education policy and practice on both regional and national levels.I hold a Master’s degree, a PGCE, the National Professional Qualification for Headship, and am a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching. I remain committed to compassionate leadership, transformative education, and the pursuit of equity for all learners.
