In collaboration with my tech lead we reverse-engineered a legacy system and unearthed critical defects revealing years of customer data corruption. After 43 days of high intensity triaging, debugging, and redesigning, this resulted in being given the freedom to float across the entire product suite to surface, triage, categorize, and prioritize systemic defects and tech debt. Over the following six months, this project pre-empted dozens of severity 0 issues in production and saved the company over $600k annually, resulting in promotion to SE III.
