About Thiago Da Silva Araújo
Hi there! I'm so excited to share my journey with you. I started my computer engineering degree in 2018. I was lucky enough to be part of UFPE's robotics research group, RobôCIn. It was such a rewarding experience! I learned so much about software development, academic research and people management. I also had the privilege of taking part in the AraboIA project, where students from public schools are taught programming, artificial intelligence and programming security. In this experience, I was able to learn more about various subjects, as I taught classes and helped organise the project. It was such a fun and enriching experience! I started a scientific initiation in the CIN/Motorola project, which was my first experience of software testing. I also got to work with robotics! My first professional experience was as a trainee at Cesar. I started as a QA with a focus on test automation, but over the course of the internship I learnt a lot about manual testing, be it writing, execution or planning. I was made permanent and continue to work with QA, which gives me a different view when I go to work with development. At the end of my degree, I moved to UFRGS and spent two semesters there. During this period, I took part in the regional stage of the programming marathon in 2023! I started doing scientific initiation in the area of high performance computing and this resulted in the master's degree I'm doing at UFRGS. Finally, I started working as a developer at Mbochip. It's been a great experience and I've learnt a lot.
