Of note, the Pocket Avatars venture utilizes state of the art facial gesture recognition technology enabling next-generation OTT (over-the-top) messaging and real-time communications developed within Intel Labs Beijing. -- Was awarded the Intel Achievement Award (Intel's highest recognition) in May 2014 for initiating and guiding the Pocket Avatars project from lab research project into Intel business unit on an accelerated schedule as part of the Intel Labs Venturing team.-- Co-authored over two dozen invention disclosures related to this and other projects.-- Origination role in all key premium content partners for the project.-- Utilized rapid software techniques (e.g., Agile).-- Managed team members (Intel employees and contractors) in Beijing, Seoul, OR, & CA.Apart from Avatars project, helped manage early-stage corp venturing for other projects, including:-- Graph Analytics Operation.-- Small-form factor compute platform (later released as Edison.
