Developing features for Unity and Unreal Engine 4 to help developers create VR/AR applications

• Gameplay Programmer for Realm Royale.• Developed a new animation system for creating generic weapon animations that can work across multiple characters in Realm Royale.• Created new netcode for processing player inventory updates and weapon swapping.

• Gameplay Programmer for Paladins.• Developed new champions for Paladins including Jenos, Ash, and Lex.• Primary developer on new characters in Paladins which involves coding new abilities and behaviors, building new animation nodes, and helping solve issues and bugs with the characters’ design.• Worked closely with UI/UX designers to create fluid in-game menus that drove gameplay and sales of in-game items using relational databases.

• Developed Python scripts to parse timing reports for information provided by design engineers and outputted a summary of passed/failed logic times.• Analyzed critical paths in the main processor for Microsoft’s Holo Lens using internal tools for logic timing.• Programmed test programs for Vertix-7 FPGA to learn about its IDE and operation.

• Rewrote LabView program as a Java plug-in for an open source microscopy software.• Planned and coded a new state machine architecture and user friendly Swing GUI interface.• Presented weekly updates on project through lab meetings

• Collaborated with other interns to analyze the effectiveness of rapid prototyping• Designed and fabricated printed circuit boards for an RFID tracking system.• Developed a Windows Form Application using C# that controlled the RFID system, webcam, and display.

• Analyzed different algorithms for minimizing routing paths of swarm robots under the supervision of a PhD graduate.• Simulated most efficient routing solution in MATLAB• Executed final revision of the algorithm on a group of swarm robots whose objective was to play Fur Elise on a virtual piano.
