Current* Designed, maintained, enhanced, tested, and supported the backend and user-facing software in conjunction with intra and inter-department engineering teams for a warehouse control system written in C, C#, Visual Basic, and Perl with Oracle or SQL Server database.* Developed, maintained, and tested multiple software tools used by internal developers to automatically translate container movement diagrams to SQL scripts, conveyor layout diagrams to emulator scripts, and emulators for various material handling equipment.* Resolved baseline product defects tracked by the bug tracking system for the backend and user-facing software.* Implemented baseline product improvements to both the backend and user-facing software based on developer and customer feedback.* Provided 24/7 technical support directly to customers via phone by identifying issues reported by the customer, analyzing past and current system status, and by performing corrective actions or consulting other experts.* Supported the deployment of the integrated warehouse solution (both software and hardware components) by collaborating with engineers from multiple disciplines, companies, and countries. They include software, mechanical, and control engineers as well as equipment specialists from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Germany, and Italy.* Investigated system issues and identified opportunities for improved user experience by interacting with customers and end-users.* Addressed performance deficiencies of the deployed system by identifying key metrics, designing verification tests, and by presenting possible corrective measures.* Satisfied software test requirements by designing and executing unit, interface, and integration tests for both the backend and user-facing software.* For the most recent project, I successfully designed, developed, tested, and deployed the mixed palletization order processing subsystem for a customer.
