I graduated in engineering from Helsinki Institute of Technology in 1991, Bachelor of Science, B.Sc. in Construction Engineering Technologies and from Aalto University, Helsinki in 1996 in Technology Construction Economics M.Sc. I worked as a foreman in 1994 at YIT, Helsinki, while studying at Aalto University. Since graduating in 1996 I’ve worked in real estate and construction companies in different roles, e.g. as a site manager, project engineer, project manager, development manager, facility management and development leader and unit leader.Between 1997 and 2001 I worked at YIT as a Project Manager in different renovation projects. In 2001 I moved to Kapiteeli (Sponda) as a Project Manager. In 2003 I became Unit Leader at Pohjola Real Estate Investment Co, where I led Development, Construction and Facility Management.In 2005 I returned to YIT as a Vice President and Unit Leader in the Business Premises division where I was responsible for developing offices, retail and commercial projects and tender-based projects in the Greater Helsinki Metropolitan Area, working on tendering offers, land acquisitions, zoning and development, leasing premises, construction work and property transactions.In 2013 I started as a Senior Vice President in the Tripla -project division and I was responsible in whole project, developing, leasing and constructing. Tripla is a enormous project in Finland, worth 1.5 billion euros and it has completed 2020 before its indigenous schedule. Tripla has won the Construction Site of the Year 2018 competition. Despite of some problems in the end of the project, Tripla was very successful project and met its targets. In 2020 I moved from Tripla to YIT´s Properties -segment as a director of division of Project development and management. Until beginning of November 2022 I started work for Destia, as a Head of Energyservices (EVP) and as a member of Destia Executive team.
