I focused on certification queue management and establishing skill triage processes for a team that certified high visibility third-party Alexa Skills, ensuring that externally developed skills meet the Alexa platform's standards. I also reviewed process improvement ideas generated by the operations team, and drove projects and initiatives based on these ideas.

I resolved FBA (Fulfillment By Amazon) seller issues by virtually locating shipments through internal tools, communicating with fulfillment center associates, and contacting carriers. I determined root causes for missing or incorrectly received items and evaluated reimbursements for missing inventory cases. I also handled curation of Standard Operating Procedures and managed documentation for processes outside of SOP.

I assisted a team of 6 to 25 data specialists by providing training and guidance with tool usage and debugging, interpreting policy, and facilitating communication between operators and management. I also aided in the development of policies and workflows, handled project documentation, and kept track of operator productivity and performance.One highlight was concurrently managing the primary stages of several major pilot projects, two of which have since expanded into full time programs with personnel in the Hyderabad, Mountain View, and Bothell offices. I had the opportunity to shape policy and tool functionality by collaborating with engineering and product teams to give and receive feedback, and I learned so much about taking a good idea and making it into a functional, scaleable, and productive reality.
