Project entitled: “Joint Action on Antimicrobial Resistance and Healthcare-Associated Infections” [761296/EU-JAMRAI] funded by the European Union’s Health Programme (2014-2020) Duties included:- Developed comprehensive training programs for healthcare professionals on Infection Control, Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), and Audit as a tool for behavioral change, among others- Participated in the actions of the Department of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs) at the Hellenic Center for Disease Control and Prevention (EODY)- Developed training tools, such as Hand Hygiene, for the EODY's Department of AMR & HAIs- Conducted statistical analysis of diverse data sets to inform decision-making and strategy development- Collaborated with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, public health organizations, and government agencies- Participated in and organized conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends and share knowledge and insights with peers- Managed projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of deliverables, adherence to schedules, and effective management of budgets.

Project entitled: “CARE – Common Approach for REfugees and other migrants’ health” [717317/CARE] funded by the European Union’s Health Programme (2014-2020)Duties included:- Designed and developed the National Reference System on the health status of refugees, including conducting extensive bibliographic research on relevant protocols, guidelines, and good reference system practices.- Developed a comprehensive manual for the operation and use of the system to ensure accurate and efficient reporting and tracking of refugee health data.- Participated in the evaluation of the implementation of the system to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with established protocols and guidelines.- Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams and engaged with various stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and ensure the successful implementation and utilization of the system.- Maintained accurate records, conducted data analysis, and produced detailed reports to inform program decisions and facilitate continuous quality improvement.

Health Promotion Supervisor in the Vaccination Campaign in North & Central Greece- Developed awareness tools and conducted an awareness campaign for 13 Refugee Camps, resulting in the vaccination of 1800 children aged 2 months-17 years.- Defined the strategy and executed health promotion activities to raise awareness among the target population.- Supervised, trained, supported, and evaluated the Health Promotion team in executing the campaign.- Designed and implemented a Rapid Health Assessment tool for refugees (Refugee Health Assessment) to evaluate the health status of refugees.- Conducted an assessment of the needs of refugees (Need Assessment) to identify their health needs and develop effective intervention strategies.- Developed final deliverables and reports to present the findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
