Managed brand protection team which provided full range of IP enforcement services and held the largest brand protection portfolio in Georgia consisting of the most well-known international brands from various industries. The team I was leading:- managed 66% of all customs recordals in Georgia.- managed almost 400 trademark recordals in customs register. - only in 2022 (January-July) handled 155 customs detention cases which equals to more than 52,000 counterfeit items.- more than 95% of customs detention cases were finalized by signing destruction agreements with importers and only less than 5% have gone to court.I personally litigated more than 40 civil disputes with more than 90% of court cases settled or finalized on behalf of our clients.Organized and participated in more than 50 successful raids against counterfeiters.

Provided legal services in the field of IP: - recorded IP objects in customs register; - provided post customs recordation services, negotiated with the importers, drafted and executed agreements; - conducted market watches, identified infringers, initiated criminal, administrative or civil actions, participated in raids; - consulted clients and represented before state authorities or the courts in IP disputes;- assisted the company to build brand protection team and leaded the team since January 2018.

Identified the problems and worked on solutions connected to combating counterfeiting in the region, including online counterfeiting. Worked on legislation and procedure improvements.Organized and moderated two virtual INTA IP Policy Dialogue events in Georgia- ‘Online counterfeiting’- ‘Awareness on anti-counterfeiting in the wake of Covid-19 disruption’
