Contract for Belden Inc.Provided support for Belden’s IT Infrastructure, applications, and employees in the North America locations. We focused on Tier 1 and tier 2 level troubleshooting. • Provide phone support for Belden employees for break/fix issues and basic user administration for SAP and AS400.• Monitor Help Desk email queue in order to create tickets and either work on issue or transfer to appropriate team. • Monitor system alerts for the global IT infrastructure and create ticket for the Infrastructure team if needed• Image and install software packages on computers for Belden and other subsidiary companies• Use Active Directory to change passwords, change the OU of imaged computers, manage user profiles and permissions, and add local administrators to Belden’s computers.• Inspected server room visually for faulty equipment.• Troubleshoot issues with IPhone’s and issue Mobileiron registration to users for company access to email.

Also responsible for shipping IT equipment needed by Field Engineers for projects and repairs. • Receive and verify purchase orders for the IT department. • Maintain an accurate inventory on the floor and on our internal website.• Tested several different models of printers. If needed replaced components or scraped the parts for repairing other printers.• I was also responsible for processing equipment returned from the field and also the repair of that equipment. Including pinpads, monitors, battery backups, printers, small electronics security equipment, cherry keyboards, as well as other IT equipment from the stores and DCs. • Was responsible for picking or receiving equipment for all projects and new stores that were built. For projects I was responsible for packing, verifying and counting product, and shipping on schedule. For new stores I was responsible for having it put together and verified correct for another team to pick up as well as sometimes helping them to load their trucks.
