• Installed and managed the entire spectrum of the IT resources including the Application Development, Application Specialists, Project Management, Infrastructure, Security and Help Desk functions. • Designed and/or implemented creative solutions to improve information availability and provide labor saving platforms.• Led the teams that implemented internally developed and cloud-based applications including ERP, ECM, Timekeeping, Payroll, Billing, SharePoint, Claims Management, SQL Systems, OnBoarding and Workflow.• Prepared and implemented Strategic Plans for the growth and evolution of the technology resources. Ensured that the plans aligned with the Company’s Strategic Initiatives. Created and managed both operational and capital budgets.• Identified emerging technologies and determining which ones may add value to the organization.• Drove the creation of both strong Project Management and Application Development teams to support the goals of profit maximization. Application Development projects utilized internal, outsourced and off-shore resources and the Agile Development process.• Managed the design and construction of a significant server-based network performing at 99.9% level of availability over a 10+ year window. Security structure includes monthly vulnerability analyses with plans for monitored, intrusion detection system. Implemented a fully redundant, real-time disaster recovery co-location. • Designed the Company’s Business Continuity Plan• Experienced with the negotiation and execution of multi-year vendor contracts with a broad range of contract values. One of the licensing agreements saved the company in excess of $1.5 million over 5 years.

• Managed the Accounting, Payroll, Billing, Treasury, Risk, Information Systems and Accounting Operations functions during the explosive, growth period for SMS. • Directed the analysis and integration of the Company’s first acquisitions which doubled the size of the Company at each transaction closing. Arranged all bank financing and expanded the corporate support for the acquisition and organic growth initiatives that grew SMS from a $20 million/1,000 employee organization to a $230 million/11,000 employee organization in 4 years. • Successfully reengineered many of Company’s processes including an innovative claims handling process for the Company’s worker’s compensation and general liability claims. • Selected and implemented the first Electronic Content Management System (ECM) to manage the applications and new hire paperwork for over 10,000 new hires each year.• Led SMS’ implementation of the billing and financial compliance responsibilities for a significant, national security contract with the new Transportation Security Administration. The requirements included compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).• Managed the annual budgeting process and consolidation for over 500 individual profit & cost centers.• Implemented the annual assurance audit and annual update.• Managed the design of two, new corporate office buildings.• Implemented the financial reporting structure that continues to be used as the primary tool for P&L management.• Managed SMS’ Risk/Insurance program including the analysis and selection of policies ranging from low deductibles to very high deductibles. Portfolio included general liability, worker’s compensation, health and welfare and umbrella policies for all operating divisions

• Provided sales and information support to the Gaming Division during the period when transaction revenues grew from $15 to $175 million.• Coordinated annual budget preparation for 100+ profit and cost centers.• Developed a PC based information systems to provide more-timely, critical information outside of the mainframe environment.• Managed remote customer service operations and designed the plan to integrate disparate systems from multiple acquisitions.• Provided customer proposals, financial analysis and contract construction support to the sales organization.
