About T. Sean Mckean

I am a Partner at ghSMART, where I advise CEOs and C-suite leaders on how to accelerate their personal leadership and their teams to full potential. I lead engagements for premier corporate and private equity clients on leadership development, CEO succession, high stakes leadership decisions and team effectiveness. I have coached extensively and co-lead ghSMART's Leadership Development and Coaching Practice.Prior to ghSMART, I spent nearly a decade at Bain & Company in New York, where I worked with global Fortune 500 companies in healthcare, consumer packaged goods, and other industries as well as private equity clients. During my tenure at Bain, I spent several years leading teams and advising clients on growth strategy, cost transformation, organizational design and merger integrations. I also led the NY Chapter of Latinos at Bain. I live in New York City with my wife, daughter and son, and enjoy running (10 marathons), basketball and tennis. I am also involved in a variety of community organizations focused on youth and education and immigrants’ rights.I earned my MBA from Columbia Business School, and an AB from Harvard University.
