As a consulting solutions architect, I am responsible for the design of one or more applications and/or services within the customer’s organization. Working with the business and technical leaders, I coordinate discovery meetings to begin the process of analyzing their business processes. After researching solutions, meeting with vendors and key personnel, and holding round-table meetings with our technical team, I recommend a solution to our client and provide alternatives. During the implementation process, I share my findings and solution with the impacted internal and external teams and drive the solution to completion. - As a manager at the firm, I meet with senior leadership to coordinate sales and growth efforts. - Directed the systems optimization strategy that improved website response times, increased data security, and improved the database’s response time. This has increased the number of web orders, reducing call center complaint calls, and increased the number of items shipped per day. - Conducted discovery meetings with the senior leadership of multiple companies and provided guidance the technology strategy to improve their current business systems. - Develop and coordinate implementation plans with multiple vendors resulting in an integrated solution for our client. As a technical architect, I was responsible for the structure for application developed within the team. I regularly met with project managers to provide guidance and assign resources to ensure the project was ran smoothly. Working with the account management team, I would present our solution design to the customer. - Primary technical contact for the marketing efforts for the brand and technical support teams at several Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies. - Championed the development of standard development practices for ASP.NET (MVC) and Salesforce applications. Implemented these standards by leading the development of standard libraries and application structures. This has resulted in the reduction programming errors and development time. - Coordinated application deployment with my largest client and was able to reduce downtime when replacing an existing site with new. - Collaborating with the clients’ technical teams, I provided advise on future platform needs. - Provided mentoring and guidance to software developers on our team.

Lead the development team building internal applications and a new e-commerce platform. We primarily use PHP, JavaScript (jQuery), Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, and C#.• Leading the team in developing a new e-commerce platform for retail travel insurance products. Contributed software engineering expertise in the development of products through the software lifecycle, from requirements definition through successful deployment. Worked with business owners, outside vendors providing design and SEO consulting, and end users to ensure we deliver an efficient platform.• Implemented Microsoft SQL Reporting Services 3.0 (2008 R2) on internal and external systems. I developed the data warehouse for retail and wholesale travel insurance which enables our users to develop reports for internal and external customers.• Interfacing with internal customers and business owners, I lead a team in developing internal applications to increase the efficiency and accuracy of travel insurance claims.

Managed 3 developers in a highly regulated environment. Planning and engineering of applications, develop web applications, and integrate disparate applications. We primarily used C#/ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Reporting Services and SharePoint 2007.• In collaboration with the sale’s team, I worked directly with clients on functional requirements, designing and implementing solutions. Many of these clients are in the Fortune 500 (i.e. Kimberly-Clark, Valvoline, Old World Industries, and Jim Beam Global).• Wrote specification documents, communicated timelines, and assigned projects to team members.• Developed a standard set of libraries for use in external client projects including: payment gateways; data storage; contest scoring; contest and order rule enforcement; and enhancements to off-the-shelf applications.• Developed e-commerce, survey, sweepstakes, Restful web services, call center and billing applications.• Served as the technical lead in deploying Sage MAS 500 ERP. In this role, I developed Internal Billing Application that pulls data from multiple data sources, including: AS/400 Rebate Fulfillment System; Natural Order (Order Entry System); internal coupon clearing application; and Neopost Friendship Navigator.• Leading a team made up of department heads, we implemented Natural Solution’s Natural Order. This system replaced the current order entry, order fulfillment and warehouse management. As part of the implementation, I developed order import applications to feed various systems’ (online and offline) orders into Natural Order.• Working with our network engineer, I upgraded our application platforms and maintained firewall rules to insure a secure environment and PCI compliance.

Led 6 developers in a highly regulated insurance environment in developing e-commerce and internal applications. We primarily used PHP, JavaScript and Microsoft SQL Server.• Lead a team in launching multiple e-commerce Travel Insurance websites. The top 2 sites had $12 and $9 million in annual sales in the first year after launch. • Worked with directly with retail partners develop new or enhance existing retail e-commerce sites• Developed PHP Framework and other libraries used for development• Working with company executives and retail partners, we developed additional product lines to increase revenue for Trip Mate and those retail partners.
