I am pursuing my double major in Anthropology and Sociology at University of British Columbia, before UBC I graduated from Temasek Polytechnic Singapore with a diploma in Communication Design, with a specialisation in branding. My expertise includes brand identity/strategy, logo design, creative direction, video editing, and illustration. I have contributed to notable projects such as the logo for Singapore’s Ministry of Finance Budget 2021 and an art book displayed at the Cultural Centre in Belgrade.In addition to my design work, I have extensive experience in art education, teaching a diverse range of students, including children and adults with special needs. My teaching encompasses various mediums, including digital art, illustration, and painting. Prior to studying at UBC, I freelanced and established my own design studio, collaborating with clients like Feelers, and also completed internships at Studio Darius Ou and Praxium. These experiences have sharpened my interpersonal skills and resourcefulness.Beyond my design career, I have a strong background in leadership. Through the HarvardBusiness School Club of Singapore Mentorship Programme, I developed my interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills. I worked alongside my team to develop the brand identity for Design Orientation Camp and served as an Executive Commitee Secretary for the Design Student Ambassador program, managing events and initiatives. Additionally, I organized charity food donations as a LEAD Ambassador and supported branding efforts for the Design Studies Club. Throughout my time in secondary school I represented Singapore in national and international debate competitions and served as Peer Leader Chairperson, coordinating camps and workshops. Passionate about creativity, my partner, Nigel Tan, and I run Wobbagonk!, a creative collective that has evolved while still accepting graphic design projects—please reach out if you’d like to collaborate!
