As the Chief Audit Executive/VP at Adtalem Global Education, I lead a team of internal auditors to develop and complete a risk-based annual audit plan, covering financial, regulatory, operational, and IT process areas. I have over 18 years of experience in internal and external audit, with a CPA and a CISA certification.I report directly to the Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee of the Board of Directors and present quarterly updates on the audit findings and recommendations. I collaborate with management across the organization to provide assurance and feedback on the control environment and process improvement. I am also passionate about talent development and have exported internal audit talent to other parts of the organization.
