Tshering Gyeltshen (Tshigyel), is a multi-talented and multi-award-winning Bhutanese actor/writer/director, film and mediacom researcher and consultant and entrepreneur. He has been working in the Bhutanese media, culture, film and performing arts and creative industry for over two decades. Tshering Gyeltshen is an exemplary leader and pioneer, excelling and breaking new grounds in various career pursuits and projects that he either led or has been a part of. He founded Shangreela, an integrated film, media, tv, entertainment, and OTT services company, in 2021. Before that he ran Triple Gem Media & Infotainment (TGMI), a media services and film production company, that he founded in 2004. Tshering Gyeltshen worked as a journalist with the national newspaper, Kuensel, from 2001 to 2003, rising to the position of Chief Reporter and Sub-Editor in the shortest span of time in the newspaper’s history. During the same period he also worked as a part-time radio and TV News Presenter for the national broadcaster, BBS.
