A keen interest in Software development with a solid foundation in coding and problem-solving.I graduated from Valdosta State University (VSU) in Georgia, USA, with a degree in Computer Science, specializing in Software Development. During my academic journey, I actively engaged with the VSU IT department, the Math and Computer Science department, as well as the Physics department. This involvement included tutoring Physics and Calculus, assisting professors, and troubleshooting software and hardware issues for both faculty and students. This multifaceted experience allowed me to gain expertise in web design, end-to-end user applications, and even overseeing employee training. In my last role as a Junior Application Developer at Mom’s Organic Market Inc., I developed software in a range of programming languages including Java, Javascript, SQL, Linux OS, Angular, with some UX/UI development. In the two years I was there, I developed and deployed several company-wide applications, including an Inventory Search Web Application, a Merchandise Inspection Application, and a Vendor Registration Application. Additionally, I undertook significant updates to Java-based portals. My responsibilities extended beyond software development, as I also managed relational databases and Virtual Machines using Linux OS and MYSQL, serving as an assistant Systems Administrator. My background also encompasses a successful time working at the Apple Inc. Genius Bar, addressing software and hardware issues while delivering exemplary customer service. I improved Apple Georgetown’s business presence in the region by being the top technician creating business connections among clientele for the third quarter of 2017. I also have a strong foundation in customer service, which includes working with Direct TV, Fresh Beginnings, GA, and the VSU IT Help Desk. I am adept at addressing customer concerns with empathy, professionalism, and courtesy, aligning with the core principles of each organization. As a team player and natural problem solver, I excel in leadership roles and mentoring others. Beyond my professional experiences, my life journey has taken me across continents, fostering proficiency in six languages including English, French, German, Swahili, Luganda, and Lugisu.
