I am an honors graduate of Georgia Northwestern Technical College. I earned my associate degree in Business Healthcare Technology with an emphasis on reimbursement and compliance. I passed my CPC certification exam in August 2022. I am currently employed at Mountain Management Services, a part of CommonSpirit (known locally as Memorial Hospital), as a Coder I for the Tennessee region. I am proficient in both Epic and Allscripts. I am an active member of Christway Community Church and a volunteer in their children's department. I have the privilege of working with the special needs children. Prior to homeschooling my children, I worked as a Senior Benefit Analyst for Cigna Healthcare. During my career at Cigna, I earned five Circle of Excellence Awards for exceeding productivity goals and 100% audits. I have previous experience working in health insurance, a love for continuing education, an attention to detail, and life experiences that will make me an excellent medical coder.
