After 24 years of leading CFG, Tim has retired from that role and left the firm in the wonderful, capable hands of Jerry Corless, his partner of 5 years. He has recently joined the firm of Continuum Planning Partners let by his daughter Abby Spaulding, and Andy Faught. Under Tim’s leadership, Capital Financial Group had 5-fold growth and has expanded throughout Tennessee and into Mississippi and Kentucky. The firm’s assets under management have exceeded 1.3 billion dollars. Capital Financial Group has over 5 billion dollars of life insurance in force. Tim and his wife Darlene have been married 44 years and are blessed to have both their children, Adam and Abby, live in near them in Nashville. Abby is a successful advisor with the firm, while Adam is owner and President of 2 large retail spirits stores in the Nashville are. In addition to many personal active hobbies, Tim is deeply involved with the Martha O’Bryan in Nashville, the oldest charity in the city. His work not only on the board, but also as a fundraiser has been very fulfilling and fruitful.
