I am a Co-founder of Twinview Health, a registered NDIS provider located in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide. I started my career as a community support worker in 2015, looking after adults and children with some level of disabilities while studying for a Diploma of Nursing at TAFESA. During this time, I worked in various nursing homes as an agency work support worker. Following completion of my diploma, I studied to be a Registered Nurse at the University of South Australia and worked with Aboriginal communities as an Enrolled Nurse while undertaking this degree. Currently, I am volunteering with the African Women Federation in South Australia (AWFOSA). Between March and June 2021, I also managed the NDIS Community Connector Project, which was aimed at raising NDIS awareness in CALD communities under AWFOSA. We worked with eight communities and managed to address some of the barriers facing African populations living with disabilities and help them access the NDIS.
