Roles and Responsibilities - Project Execution for Multiple Fire Protection, Detection and Security Systems projects for the entire region covering Southern and Eastern India- Delivered over 40 Fire Projects (mostly in the brownfield) and over 200 systems (90% being brownfield) installation. Valued to INR 800 million. - Reports : 3 managers and a team size of 25.- Co-ordinating with Project Management, Procurement, Design, Accounts, and Sales teams.- Resource allocation and utilization.- Project Execution planning, monitoring, and reporting shortfalls for timely action.- Interaction with customers, Consultants, End-users.- Delivery of projects to customer satisfaction.

During the said period, professional employment was taken at various organizations as Eagle Technology, Megatron Systems, A local Fire protection System company, etc. My assignments with these organizations were for providing support and general improvisation of their top and bottom lines. Was fully engaged in Solution sales of Eagle Technology (US-based organization) for Computerised Maintenance Management Systems & Software. Interacting with all the direct customers looking for CMMS packages, and the IBMS system integrators/ Manufacturers - Providing sales support, Demonstrations, providing Technical and application-based solutions, Coordination for Installation and commissioning, User training, etc. Was engaged in conducting training sessions in Project Management at organizations like Steer Engineering, Bengaluru; Guest lecture on Project Management for educational institutions; prominent ones being Alliance University, Jain University, etc During this period as an independent consultant, I had multiple roles with multiple organizations of which some were time-bound and some were open-ended.

Valued to USD 30 million. - Handled over 200 projects of IBMS, Security, Fire & Life Safety safety systems, and HVAC in 4 years. Valued to INR 800 million. Successfully delivering and closing each one of them. Worked PAN India with safety/ security/ IBMS consultants/ customers/ OEMs. - Managed 40 project sites simultaneously at the peak.- Initiated “Train the trainer” and improved productivity.- Was the Core team member for SAP implementation.- Was a Core team member for the Lean Six Sigma initiative.

- Tidel Park, Chennai (Largest Integrated building Management System in India). Succesfully completed in 10 months. (INR 90 million Order)- Some of the other major projects in Chennai Ramtek Systems, HLL, Satyam.- Completion of landmark IBMS for ING Vysya Bank Corporate office, BEL corporate office, HLL, Chennai, Dr. Reddy's Labs, Cipla, ISRO - Satellite test facility etc. among others from concept to commissioning.- Steered loss making Projects to profitability by focusing on Engineering and cutting execution costs.

- Achieved over 95% sales target in 1998-99 - My first year in industrial instrumentation sales. Developed several new customers. Landmark DCS orders for Sugar industry automation. - High calibre technical training on instrumentation and industrial systems, application based sales, solution selling, tracking customers movement in Mercuri Goldmann sales platform etc. Interacted with all process industry consultants/ OEMs and customers (end users) in Chennai and Bangalore region.

- High points are booking landmark orders from Gas Authority of India Limited (Engineers India Limited), Tisco Jamshedpur, BHEL, ABB, MECON among many others which were a boost in the arm for the product. - Booked the single largest order and the next highest value order in one FY for the product line giving a “boost in the arm” for the otherwise weak product line till then.- Have visited & met and dealt with almost all consultants, OEMs and customers for process industries across India.- Played a key role in the drafting of procedures and work instructions for ISO 9001 certification. Was also an internal auditor

- Marketing of Data Acquisition Systems, Time office automation systems for Textile industry production automation. Interacted with almost all major Public Sector and Private industries, Defence research establishments etc.
