I launched Raising Entrepreneurs from a personal desire to seek out information to equip me in raising kids that are self-reliant and financially independent. I believe being able to think and act entrepreneurially are essential life skills that all children need to possess. My mission is to inspire and equip other parents with the information and tactics to raise empowered children who have initiative, can solve problems, create value and earn money from their ideas.

I led one of the agency's core departments, setting the strategic vision and overseeing the management of the SBA funded training and technical assistance programs which included 63 Small Business Development Center programs supporting approximately 1000 local centers; 114 Women's Business Centers; and 14,000 SCORE mentors. * I was responsible for the $160 million dollar appropriated budget and a team of over 50 federal employees. * Designed and oversaw the implementation of strategic initiatives and partnerships such as the national initiative, ScaleUp America an initiative to provide targeted assistance to growth oriented businesses helping them scale-up operations and expand.* Designed and implemented the Aspire Initiative, a public/private partnership to support entrepreneurship education and microloans to returning citizens.
