Hello! I am the president, owner, and operator of Tailored Trainings by Tara. I have a decade of experience as a certified bilingual/ESL educator. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in Modern Foreign Language (Spanish) and a minor in Political Science with a 3.5 GPA. I also obtained a Master’s Degree in Bilingual Education/ESL, with a minor in Educational Leadership from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin with a perfect 4.0 GPA. My latest achievement is completing the Administration Certification program at Lamar University. My passion and dedication to educating ELL's led me to establish Tailored Trainings by Tara in 2014. I look forward to sharing and delivering the knowledge and skills I have obtained during my years in education. During the past decade I have had the opportunity to work in various school settings, educating children from diverse racial, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds. This has helped deepen my understanding of how to connect with people and deliver the best professional development experience. In particular, working closely with Emergent Bilingual students and educators during my career has allowed me to get to know this groups of students and adults at a profound level. I have discovered what makes them tick, what makes them learn, what motivates them, and helps them to be successful. I am pleased to bring these workshops to your school and/or district, and rest assured they will be fun, memorable, and a beneficial learning experience for all.
