As the founder of Summit Wealth Group, Ted brings more than three decades of financial planning and investment management experience to his clientsTed began his financial services career with Wells Fargo in 1989. By 1992 he had been promoted to Vice President and Regional Sales Manager.In 1996, Ted transitioned to the role of Managing Director and was responsible for managing brokerage, investment management, private banking, and trust operations for a division of the Private Client Services Group.In 2000, Ted returned to relationship management for the Private Bank. He served as a Senior Vice President and the senior partner of a group of investment professionals in Northern California.In 2010, Ted founded Summit Wealth Group. Summit Wealth Group focuses on providing fee-based financial planning, retirement income analysis and asset allocation recommendations to clients nearing or in retirement. As a fiduciary, Summit Wealth Group is dedicated to helping clients navigate the financial markets, bringing independent thought, guidance, and experience to each client situation. In 2013, Summit Wealth Group became a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm. In 2021 Summit Weath Group added additional locations in Tulsa Oklahoma and McKinney Texas. Today, Summit has custodial relationships with Charles Schwab as well as LPL Financial. Summit serves clients in 14 states and has over $100 million under management. Ted is actively involved in serving his community through various non-profit organizations. Ted is an ordained minister and worked for the past 20 years as an Executive Pastor. Summit Consulting Group continued to consult churches across the country on a free of charge. Ted and Andrea recently moved to Tulsa Oklahoma. Ted and Andrea have two adult children, a daughter-in-love, and grandsons.
