Raised $18M Series A. Currently serving as business advisor, VP Operations & Finance. Stratus Materials: — Clean energy start up based out of Pittsburgh, PA focused on novel lithium battery technology. Raised $12M series A. Served as VP of Operations and Finance. Visual Dawn: — Materials science start up focused on an integrated AR in-eye display system to assist first responders, special ops teams and healthcare professionals to access mission critical information when it matters most. Served as CEO/Co-Founder. Amenify: — Real estate start up based out of San Francisco, CA working in the proptech space to bring in-home services to tenants living in multi-family buildings. Served as VP of Business Operations. Raised $16M to date. Nucleus Healthcare: — Stemmed from work at Presidio Investors. Idea was too early stage from a PE perspective, but had significant potential to improve broader care outcomes and profitably serve underserved populations.

In addition to rolling up my sleeves and working in-house amongst my portfolio company teams, I also advise venture capital companies through researching and reviewing investments and providing sound guidance on investment strategies.

While teaching chemistry to rural school children in Tanzania, I came across a tribal Maasai village high up in the mountains whose residents had no access to basic healthcare needs. I decided to do something about this and together, working alongside the village elders and the local ministry of health, we set up a clinic for the 3,000 villagers to access basic medical services. -- Raised over $250,000 from the National Institute of Health and private sources to finance healthcare projects in Tanzania-- Managed domestic and international operations, finance, project site selection and government relationships.-- Oversaw a team of contractors during construction of the Kisimiri Health Clinic
