Currently providing therapeutic services to adult individuals, couples, families and processing groups. Working through a humanistic lens to ensuring safe and affirming services. The past two years of my career have centered adults leaving institutions to re-enter society as functioning human beings. By providing full service partnerships I've been assisting clients with chronic mental health issues, substance use, and little to no support system to re-learn and implement independent living skills. Additionally, entering the mental health field in 2014 I had the opportunity providing therapeutic services to individuals and families experiencing complex traumas and being referred to services through VOC or DCFS. I faced the challenge of providing psychoeducation, interventions, and tools for preferred change while battling external factors of oppression and marginalization which our clients face daily.
