I am a senior level cloud and security architect with experience in migrating workloads to the cloud. I have had the privilege to work for both corporate and government entities. This translates to over 10 years of cloud experience, mostly in AWS and GovCloud. Above that, is over 15 years in the security space of IT. This includes time as a DoD auditor and a Director of Information Technology. All of this deep knowledge is further enhanced with extensive training in management skills. This includes conflict resolution, resource management, and contract negotiations.While the experience is evident from the length of time in the industry and particular technologies, I went further in order to prove my knowledge. I am a certified solution architect in Amazon Web Services. Additionally, I am a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and have been since 2006. While cloud and security has been my focus for many years, I have led teams of diverse professionals and participated in many groups where plans and policies were crafted to guide the company/client into compliance with state, federal, and local compliance. Through the years I have collected over 20 additional certifications (not all listed below) over a broad spectrum of IT related skills.While certifications are important to prove specific knowledge, it is no direct substitution for actual education. I have achieved a master’s degree in business, with a specific focus in Information Technology management. All of the above experience comes together in a resource that has an unmatched work ethic.
